While he is gone, Brooke orders non-alcoholic champagne. It is a delivery that Sheila intercepts and switches out the bottle for real alcohol. Then, a drunk Brooke encounters Deacon, and they talk about their affair.

Eventually, the two end up partying together. The next morning, Brooke wakes up and is horrified by her actions. It should be noted that Soap Opera Digest confirms that Brooke relapses, but it doesn’t state whether Deacon and Brooke actually sleep together or not.
