Entering a storyline where Thomas was stumbling back into an obsession with Hope would be repetitive. So, TPTB have Noelle’s character seemingly developing a romantic slant on Thomas. That is based on her admiration for the father-son bond he has reestablished with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
The self-talk viewers have been heard Thomas engage in, where he is trying to veer away from repetitive thoughts, is a slight difference-maker. But on its own, would not be enough to present to the audience as a new angle.

Having Hope respond to Thomas’ physical appearance is new. While she has acknowledged that character’s appeal in the past, it was done so while only looking at Liam. In this storyline Hope was seen, on multiple occasions admiring Thomas as never before.
B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Feels The Change
Thomas is telling his sister, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), that he has himself under control. But within the same conversation, that took place in Forrester Creations’ executive suite, with John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) also present, Thomas volunteered various pro-Hope points.
The reference to Hope’s surprising admission to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) was coupled with Douglas’ desire to have his parents love each other. Steffy and Finn felt the hot warning glare of Thomas’ words and advised him to remain cool.
Steffy did more than advise. She told her brother to check himself.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer’s Il Giardino Talk
Much of soaps involves conversation. Action is rare, with purposeful motion scenes built to over many episodes.
So, Liam’s lunch with his father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), at Il Giardino was just talk. In it the Spencers chewed salad and Thomas’ renewed threat.
Bill admonished Liam, telling him not to allow Thomas to gain a foothold. How effectively Clifton’s character responds will soon be seen on B&B.
