The compassion that his family and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) are already offering gives Thomas something that he didn’t have before, understanding. Even Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) were always were leery of what he was doing, or going to do next.

The subdural hematoma diagnosis alters everyone’s perceptions. And it also might be the start of what would have been impossible just weeks ago.

Many people know that Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) kept the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) secret. But Ridge, in particular, knows that Thomas tailgated Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) to her death on Mulholland Drive.

The Beth debacle was a moral crime. Emma’s tragedy represented more than one criminal act that Thomas has never been held accountable for. Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) saw circumstantial evidence on Thomas’ GPS history, but it was later wiped clean. So, it’s possible that this open issue could be revisited at some future point.

In both regards, none of the characters who know about one, or both incidents have forgotten that Thomas was responsible for those actions.

B&B Spoilers – Mannequin Arc Was Worth It

The mannequin storyline wasn’t stretched for months on end. It had a beginning, middle, and end in a matter of weeks.

Viewers realized that exposing Thomas’ take of the mannequin from Forrester Creations and Hope’s confirmation of it being in his apartment were hints of the coming climax. Linking Thomas’ hallucinations to a brain injury was brilliant, as it instantly transformed Atkinson’s villainous alter ego into a truly sympathetic figure.

It’s intriguing to consider how Atkinson is going to play the fully self-aware Thomas from this point forward. Following his efforts since August, when viewers were reintroduced to the character that they hadn’t seen since March, Thomas will surely continue to strive for respect.

It’s possible that B&B is head-faking viewers by positioning Hope as Thomas’ new champion. But then again, the thought of her actually falling in love with him isn’t outlandish because the Liam-Steffy reveal could happen at any time.
