The Bold And The Beautiful: Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle)The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is in for one stressful week. She’s already worried that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will want full custody of Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) plus, she finds that her dad has a vaguely familiar new lady friend.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Who’s She

Hope drops in on her father, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and finds he’s gone, but a woman is in his apartment and it’s a close call for Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Sheila has her back turned, and Hope soon leaves but Hope remains determined to find out who her dad’s new friend is that she should have access when he’s not there. Was she a one night stand, a new live-in girlfriend, a housekeeper, who she’s certain he can’t afford, a bar regular he got involved with?

Whoever she is, Hope is experiencing a major case of role reversal as she is determined to find out who her dad had gotten involved with. She won’t let it go even when he tries to explain and introduce them, because the woman looks like she’s had major plastic surgery done to disguise herself.

B & B Spoilers – She Must Protect Douglas Forrester

But Hope cannot let go of the feeling that she must protect Douglas from his dad, and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) aren’t helping. Both of them, but especially Brooke, are convinced that Thomas has some nefarious purpose to spend time alone with his own son. Neither of them believe that Thomas has moved forward one iota from his former manipulative, psychotic ways and Brooke even thinks Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) is using Douglas. While Hope has seen progress and doesn’t totally agree, now Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) is also inserting herself and insisting Douglas belongs with his father. Thomas, as viewers may remember, was the one who asked Hope to become a mother figure for Hope to begin with but Steffy seems to conveniently forget that.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Douglas Forrester Happy

Hope observes Douglas with Thomas, and notes that Douglas is very happy spending time with his father. But at the same time, she doesn’t want to remove Douglas from her home and the safety and security he has always felt there. Hope and Thomas begin to discuss arrangements they feel would be best for Douglas, but then he interrupts them and they don’t have a chance to finish talking.

Hope feels if Douglas’ living arrangements are to change then it should happen gradually, and not all at once. She also feels that Thomas would have to be the one to compromise.
