B&B spoilers reveal that Carter hasn’t been lucky in love. Fans thought that Carter was dating Katie Logan (Heather Tom). There was definitely some confusion when Katie begged Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) not to trust Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa (Romy Park).

That is when the soap addressed it by having Carter mention to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that his romance with Katie just never really took off.

Over with Hope, she has been involved in a lot of romantic scandals lately. Kissing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) ended Hope’s marriage to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

When Hope declined Thomas’ marriage proposal, he left the country and proposed to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that after Thomas, Hope started crushing on someone else. It was Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) husband, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

After kissing Finn at Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) party for Brooke’s Bedroom, Hope had to get over that crush. That is when Carter entered the picture.

Carter admitted he had been thinking about Hope in lingerie. Then, Carter started defending Hope and her fashion line. Now all of a sudden, Carter and Hope are exchanging love confessions and making mad, passionate love.

B&B Spoilers – Fizzle Or Sizzle?

While the spoilers keep describing Hope and Carter’s encounters as “sizzling” and “undeniable chemistry,” fans aren’t buying it. There was no interest,  no crushing, no build up or anything. They were office friends for years, then suddenly they are making out.

It just seems awkward and uncomfortable. While both Noelle and Saint-Victor are talented actors, this is about the writing – not the performance.

With that being said, it seems like Hope and Carter are fizzling rather than sizzling! Even though soaps aren’t real, romance is a huge part of the genre. Instant love stories are not realistic, and aren’t really what fans want.
