The revealed relationship Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) had with Tom Starr (Clint Howard) twenty years ago is key to this theory. Bill could learn that he is related to Tom. He could be the unknown offspring of either of Bill’s parents. That option would allow less plot space, as Howard’s character is deceased.
However, it is plausible to believe that a blood relative of Bill’s, in this case, an assumed brother, would have DNA similar to that of Diamont’s character.

Bill did not know until Poppy’s recent admission that she knew Tom and had a personal connection with him, which made her question Luna’s paternity.
Tom relived his glory days when performing at Il Giardino. The comeback concert proved to be his last hurrah because a still unknown killer drugged his favored drink bottle just before showtime.
One reason Poppy did not confirm Luna’s paternity was because Tom insisted, through a series of handwritten letters, that he was her father. But that decision is moot because of current circumstances.

Considering all that Li Nozawa (Naomi Matsuda) has offered about his sister’s past, it’s also possible that another man could be Luna’s father. However, additional speculation has yet to be explored.

Poppy believes that Li’s insistence on performing the paternity test proves Tom’s claims were wishful thinking.
However, Poppy will be stunned by the outcome if someone other than Bill is eventually confirmed as Luna’s father.
Having Tom be named as Luna’s father would be bittersweet because Howard’s character was killed off. It’s a shame that strong character actor whose new character offered a humorous element into the show before Tom’s story turned deadly.
Like Poppy, Bill does not question Luna’s paternity test results. They want to keep their seemingly confirmed family intact just weeks after Li administered the paternity test.
However, fans can follow Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) and RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) lead and question what is currently believed to be indisputable DNA evidence.

This storyline is getting to be very boring and not believable. Katie is acting like some love sick puppy. am tried of this storyline.
I agree this storyline is trash. Bill was hounding that women about Luna being his and she said no but later admitted it’s a possibility. She didn’t perform the test. He sister who hates her did. She inserted herself into that after Katie came minding someone else’s business. Katie didn’t want Bill so why is she acting like this. It’s all crazy either you are the dad or not Bill still wanted to date Poppy so…….

I think Li is guilty of altering the DNA test and is the one that put Tom’s backpack in Poppys apt! One more thing I’ve thought for years..WHY do the Forrester Creation women dress like they buy from KMART?!
Some of the worst storyline ever lately. Sheila’s resurrection was the worst, and the killing off of Tom wasn’t needed to make thing’s intriguing. Sheila should’ve stayed dead. Tom could’ve caused havoc while being alive. It looks like the writers were drugged, not the other way round.
No no Tom is not Bill’s long lost brother or Lunas dad, Bill is and Poppy is innocent,please don’t let Katie win, she turned down a reconciliation with Bill three times. So just let Bill, Poppy and Luna be happy, and Katie go away and lick her wounds and pride. Make Shiela Halis’s murderer and someone from Tom’s past be his.
You know that isn’t going to happen because Bill Bell always favors the Logan’s. He always makes sure they win no matter what. This show needs new writers or it should be taken off air ASAP!
I want Poppy with Bill , just let Luna be Bill’s daughter. Katie walked away from Bill and I hate that Katie has destroyed the new family that Bill thought he had with Poppy. I don’t like Katie for stirring all this up.I dont believe Poppy killed Tom and Hollis.
This show has gotten ridiculous. I’m so sick of the trashy Logan women. They got to the top by sleeping with every Forrester man. Ridge is sickening about his “Logan”. Most men wouldn’t want a woman who’s been with his father, brother and had a daughter by her daughter’s husband. Time for this show to either get new writers or go off the air
I don’t trust Poppy. Don’t like seeing her with Bill. I do feel sorry for Luna though. I agree that the storyline needs to come to an end.
I am so tired of the writers making Hope look like a piece of crap. Tired of Steffy and her mother that looks younger than Steffy attacking Hope. I thought that Thomas would come back for Hope. They are taking the show to some place that has so much chaos and turmoil. Poor Bill is about to lose his daughter that makes him so happy. It is getting ridiculous.

It seems like the days of enjoying B&B is coming to an end. The writers imagination seems to have gone rogue. Simply disgusting. Made Hope looks desperate and like a prost itue, Katie even worse. Total desperation.
BORING AND RIDICULOUS STORYLINE about Bill and Tom being related. The whole storyline around Bill, Katie, and Poppy, boring!!! Get it over and done with and let us know who did the killings and why.
I agree with all of you. Enough is enough. Katie turned Bill down time and time again. No more of this Ridge/Taylor/Brooke nonsense. Taylor needs a man of her own… Where are Thomas and Paris? Another foolish storyline. Let’s solve these murders, allow Bill and family to be happy… Let Thomas and Hope re-unite. Give Liam his own gal… I know that doesn’t happen in the world of soaps.
