The last we saw of Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), she showed up at Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) door explaining that she is perfectly innocent because John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was alive and she wasn’t a murderer after all. Deacon thought the story was nuts, but he still covered for her when Lt. Baker arrived. He then told her he couldn’t help her, but did he?

The next time we saw Deacon, he was perfectly happy visiting with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), even posing for a picture with his ex and his daughter that Hope couldn’t wait to post on social media so Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) could see it and then kiss Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).

But now, word is that Sheila is dead.

B&B Spoilers – The Forresters Are In Disbelief

When the police tell Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn that Sheila is dead, they are skeptical but relieved. However, Brooke is the most untrusting of all and insists this can’t be true. After all, they know dead isn’t always dead — just look at Finn — and Sheila has escaped justice so many times it’s hard to even count that high. Why would anyone even believe she is gone now?

Did Deacon help Sheila plan and fake her own death just the way he did with The Young and the Restless’ Diane Jenkins (then played by Maura West, now played by Susan Walters) more than 10 years ago. We know he is capable and we know he likes to give people second and third chances as he considers all the terrible things he himself has done with his own life.

The Forrester relish in the idea that Sheila is out of their lives forever, but things are not always what they seem and we can’t help but to think Sheila is out there lurking somewhere ready to strike again at a moment’s notice.
