On various social media platforms, a significant number of B&B fans have voiced their dissatisfaction regarding Ivy’s sudden shift towards being overly prim and proper.
It was quite surprising when Ivy abruptly developed an issue with Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) spending the night at Will Spencer’s (Crew Morrow) residence. Naturally, this set the stage for Ivy’s latest role as the show’s chief meddler.
One moment, Ivy was unwell at the Forrester mansion, and the next, she was feeling well enough to go snooping around outside Will Spencer’s (Crew Morrow) beach house.
We understand that Ivy has a deep concern for her niece, and it’s somewhat commendable that she wishes to safeguard Electra and her romantic involvement.

Nevertheless, Ivy appeared to be acting quite erratically as she peered through the window and lurked in the bushes! She has escalated her meddling by directly confronting Dylan (Sydney Bullock) about the overly intimate moments she observed.
Even if Ivy is justified in her concerns regarding the inappropriateness of what she saw, her actions come across as exaggerated and almost cartoonish. Shouldn’t Ivy consider stepping back from her fixation on Electra’s romantic escapades and focus on finding a love of her own?
It seems like ages since Ivy has had a special someone to cherish, so perhaps B&B should introduce a charming new character to capture her interest.

In reality, she probably forced herself to when everyone thought he was dying, but there are certainly plenty of other eligible bachelors out there. Surely, there is another man who could bring joy to Ivy’s life and help her break free from her nosy tendencies.
Instead of having Ivy drone on about “it’s not proper” like a stuck record, the show should revive her former vibrant personality and allow her to pursue her own adventures.
