No matter what the details of their backstory, Jack is faced with two tough choices. Keep quiet and hope Sheila doesn’t force the truth out. Alternatively, he can tell Li and Finn the whole story.

B&B Spoilers – Li Finnegan May Already Be Lost

Jack’s fears aren’t exaggerated. He’s endangered his marriage by not telling Li the truth at the time or at any point through current day.

Li is naturally put off by what she’s learned so far. It would seem at least plausible for her to be wondering if Jack withheld information about his being the birth father. If the audience assumed that could be true and has since been proven, then certainly Jack’s wife could have already drawn that conclusion.

This is part of the terrible position Sheila has put Jack in. No matter when he tells the truth, consequences could be dire. However, if he doesn’t and the reveal inevitably comes out, then he’ll have no moral ground to stand on.

Jack is facilitating Sheila’s desire to see and hold her grandchild, Hayes Finnegan (no baby actor’s name known for this role). That’s a full mistake, as teasers indicate Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will learn about that decision.

While Finn is already open to understanding his birth mother’s feelings and intentions in meeting him on his wedding day, his reaction to Jack’s reveal is unpredictable. Finn was shocked by Sheila’s appearance and admission. He would seem to be prone to reacting angrily when learning about his actual birth father’s lies to his adoptive mother and to him from childhood to now.
