The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Backs Hope, Custody Battle Intensifies

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show that the custody battle over Douglas continues to grow and people are beginning to take sides. While Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) desperately defends her daughter Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), on the other side you have Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) defending his son, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

Honestly, it feels like both sides are picking good hills to die on, and they both have a point, but at the end of the day, it seems like most fans and viewers want to see Douglas back with his biological father no matter what.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Logan Gets Another Ally

B&B spoilers say Katie Logan (Heather Tom) will be paying a visit to Hope to discuss what’s going on over the custody of Douglas and stands firmly on Team Logan (no surprise there). Heather Tom explained in Soap Opera Digest, “She is definitely on Hope’s side. Kaite knows that hope wants Douglas to have a relationship with his father but he has a life with her. He’s comfortable there. If you remember, Katie when through her own issues with Will and his father and she realizes there is nothing more touching than a mother’s love, and Hope has that with Douglas.”

Katie has watched as Hope has helped Douglas from the moment she adopted him as her own and while there may be no blood relation, they are mother and son. Tom continued to explain, “Hope has been a wonderful mother to Douglas. Thomas is a guy who allowed Hope to think he was dead. That’s pretty gnarly. Katie is very wary of what Thomas’s motives are.”

B&B Spoilers – Katie Logan’s Relationship With The Forrester’s

While she is sure that her stance will affect her relationship with the Forrester’s, she does not seem to care and will stand firmly alongside Hope and her fight for custody over Douglas. While she values her relationships with each of them, she is willing to sacrifice that for what she believes is right, and what is right is seeing Douglas stay where he belongs with Hope.

Kate is a Logan girl, through and through, and will continue to stand by her family no matter what. We have to imagine that many of the Forrester’s feel the same on the other side.
