B&B Spoilers – Carter Walton Made A Connection

Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) was devoted to Eric Forrester (John McCook) for years. Nearly no one in this version of LA supported that pairing except Quinn’s son, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), and her best friend, Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards).

The great ED storyline earned McCook a well-deserved first-time Daytime Emmy Award. That story led to Quinn and Eric’s break, which created the believable and highly engaging love story with Carter.

Saint-Victor’s character responded to Katie’s question about Quinn. She wondered why he was with her as it seemed so far out of character for him to be specifically with her.

Carter said that he and Quinn were at low points in their life and that shared vulnerability explained it. That statement felt like Katie talking away from Bill.

One day Quinn was simply gone. No explanation of her exit was offered in any significant detail then or since. That was odd, considering the character’s importance and the high level of performances Sofer consistently delivered.

Why would TPTB write a well-established character out of the show like that? Sofer enjoyed a good going away sendoff and appeared to have left on mutually agreeable terms. The actor cited a desire to be with her daughter during her last year at home via social media.

Assuming all did end well, as seemed to be the case, Sofer might be taking a planned one-year hiatus. Katie’s mention of Quinn could signal the start of a comeback storyline on B&B.
