Bill is the love of Katie’s life. She cried as he and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) told their tale about the sting operation. As impossible as it may have been to believe, Bill was play-acting.
Katie was very upset when Bill claimed to be in love with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). But, as Katie and the other characters who were asked by Ridge to gather at Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) realized, Bill deceived them for a good reason.

This section header references a line of dialogue Kaye offered regarding Diamont’s character. Fans can wonder if Kaye ad-libbed that line of dialogue which was hilarious.
In a recent episode, Kaye appeared to ad-lib when he asked Patrick Duffy’s (Stephen Logan) character if he was hungry in response to Stephen’s repeated verbal jabs. Kaye’s comedic chops added some moments of relief during the tense scenes involving Diamont and Brown’s characters during the period when Bill and Sheila were living as an apparent couple at the Spencer mansion.

B&B Spoilers – Carter Walton In The Picture
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) has been unlucky in love in recent years. However, he appeared to realize a genuine connection with Katie after she told Bill that she would not reconcile with him.
Katie felt Carter represented a clean break from Bill and set up a different type of romantic match. Carter is a stable guy, as contrasted to Bill’s erratic nature.
But Bill’s revelation reopens the possibility that he and Katie are not finished.

It is possible that the emotions of the moment overtook Katie. She slapped Bill’s face after they had a chance to talk one-on-one while the other characters were collectively written to Eric’s balcony.
But an instant later, Katie kissed Bill passionately. That sight was not seen in recent years.
Bill hoped to permanently eliminate the Sheila threat. He was willing to work with his nemesis, Ridge, and force himself to be in intimate situations with Sheila. Katie recognizes the gravity of Bill’s actions and must revisit her feelings. Whether that changes their dynamic will soon be seen on B&B.
