B&B spoilers reveal that just two weeks ago, we reported Barnes would be leaving the CBS soap. She has been cast in FOX’s Fantasy Island, which is a great opportunity for the actress. At the time, Barnes shared on Twitter,

“So… the cat is officially out of the bag! I’m so excited to be joining the cast for Fantasy Island on FOX!!! I’m so grateful for everyone who made this possible. Dreams really do come true. Continue to believe, and you shall receive. Cheers to a new adventure!”

Barnes’ tweet came after Deadline reported the casting news.

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, it is confirmed that Barnes will remain on-screen until early July. That gives Zoe Buckingham just under two months to make her big exit. Although there are no details on how that will play out, we have some theories! In the meantime, the one person who opened up about Barnes moving on his co-star Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton).

He explained that they both experience something that he had never done with any other actor in his acting career. That is filming romance and break-up scenes during a pandemic. B&B Spoilers – Possible Exit Storylines

It was previously speculated that Zoe might flee Los Angeles after finding Carter and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) together. However, the affair storyline is expected not to last too long. So, Zoe must leave for another reason.

Maybe she gets a job offer somewhere else or is whisked away by Prince Charming. She could end up pursuing that music career she really wants, according to one of her early chats with Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz). Of course, she might go to prison too. When she finds out about how her “new BFF” Quinn is sleeping with Carter, the old Zoe might resurface with a vengeance. So, we will have to keep watching the CBS soap to see what happens next.
