Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) has multiple cards up her sleeve. But that idiom is not ideal.

Brown’s infamous alter ego is actually playing manipulative chess. Yes, that is a good analogy that also uses an apt adjective.

Manipulation is all that Sheila knows. She is brilliant and never had trouble attracting men. So why would someone with mental talent and physical appeal need to play games with other people’s lives? Well, Sheila is an iconic soap opera villain.

B&B Spoilers – Shecon Ruse Is Working

Sheila’s initial goal was to get people talking. Check.

Shecon is preposterous. That is what Hope and Finn thought when questioning their parents at Il Giordino. The scene happened minutes after the idea of lying about her and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) being a couple popped into Sheila’s consciousness.

Deacon looked incredulous as Sheila was claiming to have corresponded with him while he was in prison. Sheila’s pitch attempted to play into Hope’s actual penned correspondence with Deacon.

The looks on Hope and Finn’s faces demonstrated that they were not buying the act. Deacon appeared to be sending a modest message to Hope that he was not on board Ship Crazy. But Sheila kept talking because she knew Hope and Finn would relay the mind-altering news to their spouses. That happened later.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer Will Not Back Off

Hope would like to build a refreshed connection with her dad. Finn does not know Sheila and is vulnerable to her because of his naivete.

Sheila’s photo manipulation had Hope replacing Steffy in Finn’s family, with Sheila and Deacon appearing as the grandparents. Brown’s character may have envisioned herself and Deacon also being married.

Deacon will see the benefits of going along with Sheila to greater extents if this storyline gains traction. Hope plans to stay the course and not back off. That implies she will gain insight into Sheila’s plan, which will make Noelle’s character an eventual target.
