While venting to Steffy about Hope’s betrayal, he made a statement that could predict the direction this storyline is going. He said that Hope could have Thomas. Steffy tried to tell her ex that he really didn’t mean that, but he seemed “done.” For someone who called Hope the “love of his life,” he sure is assuming a lot of incorrect facts and giving up really easy.

Could Liam’s statement have actually been a foreshadowing? Things are rarely said on soaps that don’t have some sort of bigger meaning. It’s similar to name-dropping and later, those old characters suddenly return. We might be overreaching here, but it seems possible Liam was giving us a big clue of the future.

As or “Sinn,” soap scribe Bradley Bell has stated multiple times that their love is the real deal. So, we imagine that Steffy and Finn will either stay together or reunite after the cheating is found out. Which means that Liam — the man who has used the hearts of two women to play his mind games for years — might actually be the one to end up alone. As he probably should be.
