It was brilliant to pair Sheila with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). The duo had chemistry and lived a cloaked life in Deacon’s second-floor apartment above Il Giardino. Brown and Kanan’s scenes included deep texture, could be laugh-out-loud hilarious, and evoked empathy, even for Sheila.
Writing Sheila and Bill is not an attempt to top the unlikely couple just referenced. Instead, the alternate reality Sheila realized is a reinforcement of her resilience. What it means for Bill is unknown.

Deacon repeatedly told Sheila that she was not safe. While he harbored her from justice and fell in love with this outright villain, Deacon believed Sheila was destined to return to jail.
He was proven momentarily right when Bill colluded with Sheila to have her arrested after they finalized the plan they concocted. Working with his corrupted contacts, Bill orchestrated a hearing where Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) were incapable of testifying against Sheila.

Bill’s blackmail scheme blocked Sheila from being rightly imprisoned for the remainder of her life. Her statements to Deacon, about employing a plan this year, somehow came to fruition.
B B Spoilers – Bill Spencer’s Admission Moves The Ball
Devoted viewers are sensing a long-term storyline is underway. Bill was not himself when initially pairing with Sheila. He was stoic and often let her talk for him.
However, in more recent days, he appears to be reverting to his talkative self. While measured, Bill is teased to make an admission to Liam about Sheila.
The intel Liam learns moves the ball, with the plot needing to be pushed. Bill’s tell could be taken as the first sign that he will eventually be part of some solution where Sheila is concerned.
