As B&B viewers saw, exes Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy fell back into old habits recently. After mistakenly believing his wife Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) cheated on him with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Liam headed straight for Steffy’s house. The pair had a few drinks and Liam once again said he loved Steffy. (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) However, the next day the two were reeling from their night together.

Liam appeared ready to leave Hope, however after discovering it was the mannequin Thomas was kissing, he’s rethinking his decision. Liam realizes Hope was faithful the entire time, and he made a huge mistake.

Liam Spencer’s Ulterior Motive

Although it seems Liam wants to confess because it’s the right thing to do, many fans are wondering if he has an ulterior motive.

Liam wants to be honest with Hope, even though he knows this will crush her. This will lead to trouble for everyone, and possibly end his marriage to Hope. But maybe that’s what he wants.

For the past ten years, Liam’s been waffling between the two women. Although, he’s married to Hope now, recently he’s shown jealousy at seeing Steffy move on with Finn.

When he thought Hope cheated on him, Liam told Steffy he thought he made a mistake dumping her for Hope. It seemed he was ready to call it quits with Hope and be with Steffy. Yet, after discovering the truth, it appears his heart is once again back with Hope.

Liam’s risking a lot if he confesses to Hope. This will no doubt be the end of his marriage, plus it could also break up Steffy and Finn’s relationship.
