The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Liam’s Admission Raises Steffy’s Eyebrows – Hope’s Wandering Continues?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) opened with his usual halted questioning of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) answered, explaining why she rehired her brother.

But then Clifton’s character made a vulnerable statement. After telling Steffy he trusts her, Liam said he has been wondering if Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has something in her mind about Thomas.

This was not the first time Liam questioned Hope’s true feelings for Thomas. But Liam couched that speculation as a game Thomas was playing in the recent past. Liam spoke to himself on more than one occasion hoping his wife would not allow Thomas to get inside her head.

Steffy did feel sure enough when she rehired Thomas. Wood’s character was pressured by her mother to do so and received no pushback from others.

It was reasonable for Steffy to give Thomas a second chance because viewers know he was the only designer option in this soapy world. Suspension of disbelief is common in most, if not all storylines. So, it is no outrage that Steffy did not conduct an extensive designer search.

Faced with the prospect of pausing Hope for the Future indefinitely or giving it another go with Thomas, Steffy let Hope make the decision. Noelle’s character chose to once again take the plunge. That was odd considering the promise she made to Liam not to do so the night before.

After pressing Thomas hard, Steffy also laid down ground rules. She told him he would be fired if anything came up during this latest second chance.

Steffy also backed Hope, who told Thomas she would not tolerate anything unusual. There would be no pretend gray areas. People like Thomas invent that space because their creative minds bend morality to fit their purposes.

Hope has since shown an apparent attraction to Thomas. It has not been overly pronounced, but Steffy picked up on it.

Liam might feel he is in a weakened position. But if he catches Hope making overtures to Thomas, Clifton’s character can draw a line in the daytime sand.
