Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) commented that Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Colette Gray) wasn’t sure who she was with, due to all the transfers between her parents. He made that remark during what probably was the crescendo of Steffy’s drug crisis.

Kelly should see both of her parents as much as possible. But in terms of where she should live right now, there’s only one logical choice.

Anyone can suggest that Steffy’s recovery would be enhanced if she’s able to maintain her regular schedule with Kelly. But practically, how can that be possible?

In Steffy’s current state of mind, she would need a nanny on-site at the cliff house twenty-four hours a day to ensure that Kelly is protected. But a nanny isn’t a pain management specialist, a psychiatrist, like Steffy’s mother, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo), or a guard.

So, calls for Kelly to continue being with Steffy right now are arguably misguided and appear firmly steeped in feelings over facts.

The cabin is a positive atmosphere for Kelly to be in right now. Steam fans, or those who are supporting the forming pairing between Steffy and John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), may disagree.

The issue isn’t what Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) did to Steffy, or what Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) did to Taylor in the past. The most pressing point is what’s best for Kelly, who can’t take care of herself.

On this topic, Liam is a stable influence. He, his wife, and their two other children, one of who is Kelly’s half-sister, Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson), provide consistency. Steffy will reaffirm that fact when she pulls herself out of dependency, which is bound to happen.

Yes, the subject header is a cheeky reference to the seemingly back-burner fashion line that Hope heads at Forrester Creations. But it’s also directly intended to project what comes next.

Kelly has two good parents, with her father serving as a protector and source of refuge in this early part of autumn. Steffy values Lope’s importance in her daughter’s life, as she recently stated before the addiction issue exploded. In the hopefully not too distant future, Wood’s character will again be one of two parents who provide Kelly with security.
