However, the death could make Liam realize he still loves Steffy.

B&B spoilers reveal that everyone is waiting to see if Steffy will survive or befall the same fate as Finn. Since the actress is going on maternity leave, it might be a few months before Steffy actually wakes up.

Steffy could also leave Los Angeles to grieve privately. Perhaps she will need in-patient rehab for her injuries from the shooting. Any of these options would allow Wood to briefly exit for her maternity leave.

Since we know that Steffy is going to wake up and she’s the only one who is having a near-death experience, it has to be her. There are some options over who Steffy could bond with, but the most likely is Liam.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that there are a few clues that Steffy and Liam are the ones who bond after the near-death experience. First, Liam gushed about how lucky his kids are to have such great mothers. Liam was talking about both Steffy and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle).

Liam also explained to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) that he’s lucky to have such a great relationship with Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray) because of Steffy. A lot of co-parenting situations are complicated and sometimes can be quite volatile. So, Liam feels lucky that he has a good relationship with his ex-wife.

It is also teased that when Liam learns about Steffy’s condition, he is heartbroken. Plus, the teaser about Steffy bonding with someone after her near-death experience. Liam could have an epiphany and realize he doesn’t want to waste another day living without Steffy.

Liam’s waffling between Steffy and Hope has gone on for years. While fans would love to see Steffy find love with someone new after Finn’s death, it doesn’t seem that will happen. Instead, the writers will probably do what they have always done… recycle “Steam” and “Lope.”
