The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Liam’s Influence Damaged – Thomas Has The It Factor

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) influence with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) arguably ended the day after she promised to not agree to rehire Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

But Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pushed for her brother’s return. That happened through Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) maternal influence. There is no doubt that Steffy, who led the effort to fire Thomas and talked Hope out of wanting him back shortly thereafter, allowed herself to be swayed by a mix of business and personal factors.

Liam’s concern is Hope and their marriage. His acknowledgment of Thomas’ place as Hope for the Future’s lead designer does not extend beyond that point.

Steffy was uncertain about bringing Thomas back on board. She knew that his pattern of hounding Hope could easily be reignited if he was allowed to work closely with her again.

However, HFTF’s bottom line was said to have suffered badly in the immediate aftermath of his termination. Viewers suspended disbelief, knowing that the fashion world is fickle but realizing there are plenty of talented designers who could have been hired to replace Thomas.

It was preposterous to believe that Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) were the only two designers on the planet who could be tapped to fill the Thomas gap. But with that being the case, Steffy moved quickly to rehire him.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Spencer Offered A False Choice

Hope was told she could agree to rehire Thomas or the line would be shut down. It was believable that Hope chose to accept Thomas’ comeback, with included conditions.

Thomas has since been a gentleman. He threw himself into designing, devoting what seemed like every waking hour to getting the line back to where it was. But everyone’s expectations have been surpassed.

The false choice Hope was given caused her to have to choose Thomas over Liam. That is how Clifton’s character sees it and he is not wrong.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Is In Focus

What has happened since Thomas returned is rather remarkable. Hope found herself having repetitive thoughts about Atkinson’s character. The romantic nature of her inner desires shocked her.

Hope’s inability to think herself away from a developing fixation on Thomas created great drama. Kudos to TPTB for effectively reversing the dynamic and providing viewers with engaging drama that will extend into the summer on B&B.
