Liam and Thomas haven’t exactly switched roles. But it is fair to assert that both men are standing in locations that are somewhat similar to ones the other man used to occupy.

Thomas had jumped from one hole into another since Atkinson became the recast in 2019. However, the writing staff positioned him onto a redemptive path since he had emergency surgery.

In contrast, Liam’s life has been trending downward for months. Now, just as Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) began to soften her stance toward Liam and this married couple shared a tender kiss in the cabin, Clifton’s character accidentally hits something on the road.

B&B Spoilers – Not Something But Someone Very Important

Vinny felt he was a victim, which is why he rationalized his illegal dealings. He responded to Thomas on more than one occasion with emotional logic, claiming that his drug dealing was the equivalent of a part-time job. Then, he followed that unbalanced thinking by attempting to make Liam become the father of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) expectant child.

The intense response that Finn offered, when learning that Vinny purposely changed the paternity test results, was noteworthy. So, one wonders if foul play took place before Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) sports car, as driven by his son, hit the unseen victim?

Vinny’s role in the paternity scandal could make it appear as though Liam purposely struck him with that flashy vehicle. But Bill stands as Liam’s witness, which should provide some cover.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Tell To Hope Spencer A Foreshadowing

Liam told Hope that Vinny was out on bail just prior to Bill and Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrival at the cabin. Liam warned Hope that Vinny might show up there or at Forrester Creations looking for Thomas.

The above represented the use of foreshadowing, with Liam also volunteering his rage level about the situation. Then, in rapid, soapy fashion, Vinny just so happened to be in the driving path. The odds of that happening in LA were more than a million to one. But Liam hit the doomed man’s lottery, literally.
