Children are impressionable, especially at that young age. While Hope is trying to protect him and keep him safe, Douglas is still seeing that Thomas gets what he wants by scheming and manipulating. Eventually, he is going to want something or someone so bad that he will follow his father’s example. This brings us to our next point.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal it’s not just Thomas that desperately wants Hope. Douglas wants her too. It’s one thing for a child to have affection and love for a caregiver, but Douglas’ love seems to cross a few lines. Perhaps it’s because he is traumatized by his father. However, it seems more likely that even at his young age, Douglas is learning how to get what he wants and that will just get worse as he ages.

At first glance, Douglas looks like a sweet, normal little boy. However, there are certain times when he gets a certain look on his face and in his eyes. He is definitely becoming more determined and resentful, that’s for sure.

Now, he will have a decision to make soon. There is no way that Hope is going to marry Thomas. She plans on marrying Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). We know that next week, he will get “crafty” and set up a sweet surprise for Liam and Hope.

Could he decide that if “Thrope” can’t be together, then he would rather stay with “Lope?” It seems that is where this storyline is headed. Let’s just hope that Liam and Hope can reverse the damage that Thomas has caused the child before it’s too late.
