The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and rumors tease Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) animosity against Luna and Poppy Nozawa (Lisa Yamada, Romy Park) might be easily explained. The animosity is clearly wrong, but even more so if it turns out Luna is not John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) cousin, but his teenage love child?

No, it’s not what it sounds like-Finn didn’t have an affair as a teenager with his adoptive aunt; he may not have even known he was adopted at that point. But as a say, sixteen year old he could have gotten another teenage girl pregnant, and that would cast shame on the family in Li’s eyes.

So, what better way to save face than to convince Poppy, who already had a bad family reputation to adopt Finn’s teenage love child?

There could have been a scenario when the girlfriend took a pregnancy test at the hospital where Li was working and Li saw her and approached her.

Or she could have taken an at home test and reached out to Li-and Li and the unwed teen made a deal, since Finn and she could have broken up.

Li wouldn’t have wanted Finn’s promising future, already in college prep with premed aspirations weighed down with a young wife and child. Her sister had already soiled the family name by her affair with a doctor, so why not let her raise Finn’s love child as hers?

It doesn’t say much for Li as a grandmother, or a mother for that matter, or a sister-it seems that reputation trumps family for the Nozawas, assuming that’s Li’s maiden name.

As for her and Poppy not wanting Luna to be in Los Angeles that’s easy-if Finn is her birth father then Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is her grandmother!

If Luna is really Finn’s daughter, this would also explain something else-the thing that’s puzzling Finn, why didn’t Li want him to know Luna was working at Forrester? That’s easy-when he was younger and Luna was little, no one knew Sheila was his birth mother and now they do!

Luna hanging with Finn and around the Forresters could put her in danger from Sheila if she were to find out she’s her granddaughter.

The animosity could be a smokescreen on Li’s part but given the hate for her sister-which is absolutely clear-cut-it’s probably not.

Who knows-when Poppy cheated with a doctor in the hospital where Li worked, she may not have been married; it could be a case of sisters fighting over the same man!
