He has set a scheme in motion and even has a partner helping him achieve his goal. Recently the actor talked about the intense storyline.

Thomas Forrester’s Resentment

B&B spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester’s resentment is nothing new. He has had it in for Brooke for a long time. In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, actor Matthew Atkinson said it stems from Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) leaving his family to be with Brooke. Even though that might explain his hatred, it doesn’t excuse his behavior.

Brooke Logan Responsible?

Atkinson told the magazine that Brooke has been going after Thomas for what he did to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Of course, fans can’t blame her and she did always have a bad feeling about Thomas. Now, her daughter suffered for months due to his scheme with Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden).

“Now, after the situation with Hope, Brooke has been relentless in going after Thomas, and perhaps justifiably so, but let’s not forget – she pushed the guy off a freaking cliff!”

Ridge Forrester’s Loyalty to Family

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest that a part of Ridge will always protect his son. After all, Thomas is his child and Ridge feels partially responsible for how he turned out. However, he also loves Brooke and really is torn about how to handle this delicate situation. This is what is pushing Ridge to confide in Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards).

What Happens Next?

Atkinson hinted that how Brooke is handling Thomas can only result in a bad ending. She is forcing Ridge to choose between his wife and son. While the conflicted father is doing his best to stay neutral, he will ultimately have to choose between the two feuding characters, but will he make the right choice?
