The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal Atkinson felt a bit scared about taking on a new role. Especially a recast of what he calls a legacy character.

“I was a little scared. Not scared of the people, because everyone I’ve met is [sic] amazing, both as actors and as people. But since Thomas was a legacy character, I wanted to make sure I was doing him justice for the fans.”

The actor also discussed the grueling schedule and the amount of material that has to be memorized in a short period of time. He says nothing can prepare someone for that in daytime TV.
