Luckily for Thomas, it looks like all of that scheming might be paying off for him. Even though Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) has always had her reservations about Thomas, it looks like she is soon going to be running into his arms again, but this time willingly.

That’s because she is utterly devastated over the fact that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is now shaking up with his ex, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) again.

But for Thomas, this was all a part of his plan. He purposely wanted Steffy and Liam back together just so this could open things up between him and Hope. And wouldn’t you know, that’s exactly how it’s working so far. For how long this will work though is anyone’s guess.

Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, Matthew Atkinson, who plays Thomas Forrester on the hit CBS show, puts it this way, “There’s that old joke: The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results. That’s exactly what Thomas is going through right now.”

But what goes up must eventually go down, right? While things might look like they are falling into place right now, Hope will soon realize that ending things with Liam is a mistake that is going to turn into a huge regret for her.

Not only will Hope have to do a lot of back peddling, but she’s also going to have to somehow convince Liam that the two of them have the kind of love that is not only special but also unbreakable, too.

Of course, the only two people that happen to always be in the way are the Forresters: both Steffy and Thomas. The fashion designer will certainly make sure that things stay the way they are, regardless of what anyone has to say about it.
