Interestingly, this trip to Italy follows Atkinson’s earlier expressed wish to revisit Hawaii, although his mention of interviews and photoshoots could reveal another filming project.

His post also attracted comments from co-stars, including Ashley Jones, who portrays Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, and she added a few heart emojis to show her support.

Atkinson’s busy schedule on another continent has left some fans anxious about his return to the soap opera.
