Thomas is stunned by the story that Douglas tells him.

Even though Douglas ends up talking, Thomas and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) won’t give the information to Ridge right away. It is teased that during the week of January 31, Steffy decides she needs to come up with solid proof of Brooke’s lie before going to Ridge.

The reason why Steffy wants to come up with proof first is because of how Ridge has been reacting lately. Each time Steffy brings up Brooke, Ridge doesn’t want to hear it. Ridge automatically defends Brooke. Even though Steffy and Thomas would love Ridge to reunite with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), he is married to Brooke. So, in order for Steffy to convince her father that Brooke is no good, she needs to have solid proof. However, will she find it and if so, how will Ridge react?
