The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Monday, June 22 – Liam Struggles With News That Bill’s His Father – Stephanie & Ridge Comfort Thorne

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, June 22, tease that viewers will see an encore episode of B&B that originally aired on September 1, 2010. The episode will be part of “Emmy-Winning Performances” Week on the show. It was this B&B episode that gave Scott Clifton (portraying Liam Cooper, who eventually became known as Liam Spencer) an Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor.

In the episode, there will be an awkward celebration at Spencer Publications to commemorate Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) as father and son. Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) and Hope Logan (Kim Matula) will be there, too, but Liam won’t be in the mood to celebrate. Bill will tell Liam that he needs to accept the results, and that they’re father and son.

Bill will admit that he’s not ready to be a father, but he’ll say that they’ll work it out. Liam will ask what Bill knows about his mother. Bill will seem bitter, but he’ll say that Liam’s mom was beautiful and successful in business, and that she had made a conscious decision to keep Liam from his father.

Bill will say that he had wanted to reunite with Liam’s mother, but that they lived too far apart, and that she didn’t return his calls. Bill will say that Liam’s mother knew exactly what she wanted. Bill will want to know about Liam’s stepfather, and Liam will say that he was a good person. Bill will then request some time alone with Liam.

Katie and Hope will step out of the room, and Bill will tell Liam that he’ll be well taken care of, which will insult Liam. Bill will learn that when Liam was younger, he’d ask about his father, but that his mother would brush off his questions. Then in Liam’s mom’s final days, she gave Liam a folder and told him that he’d find his dad at Forrester Creations.

Liam will also tell Bill that in his mother’s dying moments, she ran her fingers through his hair, smiled, and said, “handsome is as handsome does.” This will seem to strike a chord with Bill, who will only say that it seemed that Liam’s mom loved him very much. Bill will tell Liam that he’ll work at Spencer Publications in the IT department, but Liam will say that he doesn’t want a handout from Bill.

Bill will say that he can’t make up for lost years, and Liam will get agitated, saying that he doesn’t want Bill to make up for anything. Bill will fire back: “What do you want? Do you want me to come over and read you a bedtime story?” And with that, Liam will punch Bill angrily, catching Bill totally off guard. Bill will wind up being impressed, saying that Liam might be a Spencer after all.

Meanwhile, Katie and Hope will eavesdrop at the door, trying to hear what’s going on inside. Hope will tell Katie that she can’t imagine what it would be like to have her biological dad suddenly show up. After a little talk about Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), Katie will ask why Hope had agreed to help Liam.

Katie will note that Liam was involved in tampering with the video that had embarrassed Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and her so much. Hope will say that she knows that Liam didn’t mean to hurt anyone, and that they shouldn’t be discussing the matter, since Forrester Creations and Spencer Publications were involved in litigation. Hope will tell Katie that she has always handled the corporate world better than Brooke does.

Next on B&B, over at Forrester Creations, Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) will tell Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss) and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) that Bill is Liam’s father. Thorne will be disappointed, and he’ll say that he had loved Liam’s mother. Thorne will say that he’s been searching for a purpose ever since Darla Forrester (Schae Harrison) passed away.

Stephanie will tell Thorne that he still has plenty of time to marry and have more children, but Thorne will be really upset still. Ridge will tease that they had all planned to welcome Liam to Forrester Creations and give him an office in the basement.

And in Thorne’s office, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will be hiding when Oliver Jones (Zack Conroy) finds her. Steffy will lament that everyone hates her, and she’ll lament about being controlling and how her brother hates her. Steffy will say that there are times when she figures she should let Forrester go since if Bill runs the place, she’d have all the time and money to do the things she loves.

Steffy will then inquire about how Oliver and Hope are getting along. Oliver will say that things are going well, but then Steffy will wonder why Oliver seems to be packing up his things form the office. Finally, on Monday’s encore episode of B&B, Oliver will say that he’s leaving Forrester Creations before he gets fired, but Steffy won’t want Oliver to go.
