First I want to congratulate John McCook for his win on Fri night. A fine actor and courageous man to stay as long as he has with a declining, dying soap. I find it sickening to see what used to be a strong and effective daytime presentation decline to the depths it has today. All the other programs were strong representatives at the awards EXCEPT B&B. One nomination….. ONE and that was for a character that adds NOTHING to the necessary strength needed to pull this soap back to the powerful program it used to be. I blame the biggest failure on the writers….. after Bell Sr. passed…. on not finding ANY plot, story line, or theme that had any lasting power or pulled the very best acting from the once dominate cast. Today we fans are being subjected to 3 "story lines" at a time and NONE have any rhyme or reason to even exist. Unless there are some drastic changes made in the script writing SOON, this soap will just go down the drain with the soapy water.

I saw a couple of times where John McCook was going to retire and they both said that's what was going to happen to him. I hope if it does happen that way that Donna gets left in the dust and Quinn ends up with everything!
