However, Matsuda explained in an interview that in Li’s mind, nobody’s feelings matter, especially after seeing “Steam” in an embrace.

B&B spoilers reveal that Li has been keeping a huge secret from everyone, including Steffy and the police. Li wouldn’t allow doctors to pull the plug on John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Despite the grim prognosis, Li refused to give up.

Instead of just refusing to pull the plug – as Finn’s family, she has the right to keep him on machines for a certain amount of time – Li took extreme action. Li not only smuggled the comatose shooting victim out of the hospital, but she also forged Finn’s death certificate.

Plus, Li intentionally misled the police to view this case as a murder rather than a double attempted murder. Not only will all of those things jeopardize Li’s medical license, but it could also land her in prison.

B&B Spoilers – Blaming Forrester Family

At first, it was speculated that Li kept this secret to protect Finn until the killer was caught. After Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was arrested, Li still didn’t tell Steffy the truth. Some fans thought that Li might not want to get Steffy’s hopes up in case Finn didn’t pull through. However, it is now clear that Li is being intentionally cruel to Steffy.

Even though Li knows that Finn and Steffy were shot by Sheila, she puts the blame on others. Li believes that if Finn never married Steffy, then he wouldn’t be in a coma right now. Li blames the Forrester family for their history with Sheila but also blames one of the victims: Steffy.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Matsuda spoke to SoapHub about Li’s motivations. The actress explained that when Li walked into Steffy’s home and saw her in an embrace with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), that justified her irrational decision.

“I think that completely justified it – seeing them hug like that. It was a red flag. On top of that, Li’s thinking is [Steffy] good enough for my son? Li is all about her son right now. In a way, Li’s not thinking rationally, but she is thinking about her son.”

Matsuda also confirmed that Li isn’t thinking rationally right now. This will just get worse now that Sheila knows Finn is alive. Li has no intention of letting her secret get out until Finn is totally recovered.

“She didn’t tell anyone because right now, everything is about Finn. She doesn’t care about anyone else’s feelings – including her own. She’s not going to tell anyone. Li, in a way, put the blame on the Forresters. That family has a history with Sheila. If he hadn’t married into that family then he wouldn’t have gotten shot.”

However, Sheila will be a problem. Not only will Sheila refuse to leave Finn’s side but could separate the adoptive mother from her son and patient. The last thing Li wants is for Finn to be taken back to the hospital and for her to be thrown behind bars. Li might be able to cope with that once Finn is better.

However, until then, Li has no intention of letting the truth get out. This could force Li to make a deal with Sheila.
