He probably could have processed the guilt and found a way to forgive himself if Bill hadn’t interfered. Instead, Bill is forcing Liam to keep the deadly secret. All the secrets and lies are becoming one tangled web. The guilt is eating away at Liam’s soul and it won’t get any better until he confesses. Bill isn’t going to let that happen, though. In his mind, he is protecting his son. From where viewers are sitting, though, it seems like Bill is only hurting Liam.

However, the detectives don’t seem to be looking at Liam with a suspicious eye just yet. Instead, Thomas is on Deputy Chief Bradley Baker’s (Dan Martin) radar.

It won’t even bring up that Vinny was a drug dealer. Instead, it will focus on the good things he did, which is understandable. Announcing a dead man’s sins tends to be frowned upon. The tribute will talk about how he was a great friend to Thomas. Remember, he wasn’t just the typical drug dealer. He was a drug dealer who volunteered at the animal shelter!

It is confirmed in the new issue of Soap Opera Digest that Vinny’s memorial tribute will send Liam over the edge. With that being said, don’t expect this storyline to end just yet.

It’s called a murder mystery but we really haven’t seen much mystery yet. So, that indicates that there is a big surprise at the end. Perhaps Liam didn’t kill Vinny after all. What are the chances that he was already dying by the time the car struck him? If so, then who is the person who really killed Vinny?
