Ridge and Taylor are finally aware of the whole surrogacy story. However, Taylor knows her daughter and feels that there is more going on that Steffy is not sharing.
Steffy knows that she can open up to her mother about anything, and Taylor will try to help her work her way through whatever is bothering her.
Unfortunately, Steffy’s secret will not only affect her, but also her marriage as well as Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) marriage.
Steffy agreed to this story to keep from ruining both of their marriages. Carter wants this baby for himself and Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) to raise.

Deacon Sharpe Is Completely Stunned
Deacon is in a relationship with Taylor and has been for a while now. However, Taylor hurt Deacon when she turned down his proposal recently, and he needs a sounding board.
Deacon tends to talk to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), his ex-wife, when he needs someone to vent his frustrations to.
However, Sheila will do something that completely throws Deacon off balance.
Sheila and Deacon will discuss something about a payment, and Sheila will have other ideas.
Sheila looks at Deacon and says, “In lieu of payment,” before she reaches up and plants a very passionate kiss on her ex-husband.
