The problem with Grace’s knowledge is that she can not be a fair judge. Both of her daughters are now known to be romantically involved with Carter.
Paris has been gushing about Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) for months. That is why Grace thought they were a couple. Paris’ tell about blocking his intended marriage proposal upset Grace, and that was before she witnessed the workplace kiss.

Grace referenced her daughter’s comments, as Zoe is said to be living in Paris, France. Viewers learned that Zoe told her mother bits and pieces of the recent history she and Carter endured.
It is reasonable to wonder if Grace will change her opinion about Carter after hearing the full version of the truth for the first time. Of course, it is Carter’s word against Zoe’s.
Paris can vouch for Carter’s statements. She was entangled in that situation. As viewers recall, Paris and Zende were becoming close, and Zoe was jealous.

Grace does not want her younger daughter to be involved with someone she feels has no morals. She sees Carter as a manipulative person who is not loyal.
The threat to tell the Forrester’s about the kiss Carter shared with Paris is real. Carter knows that he was given a second chance by Eric Forrester (John McCook), in a situation that was far more serious than the Saint-Victor’s character finds himself in now. Plus, Paris is single.
Paris will likely project emotions ranging from embarrassment to frustration to anger with her mother. White’s character is strongly attracted to Carter, which will not change. If he backs off, based on Grace’s threat, then Paris may be more driven to pursue him.
Meanwhile, Zende is projected to learn the identity of his competition for Paris’ heart, which will surely spark additional drama on B&B.

I think she is making a mistakes, why all of a certain the writer is taking this route. I can't stand Carter with his old ______. Why don't they just write him off.
