While she likes Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz), Paris does not currently consider him to be husband material.

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) told Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) that he still has feelings for her and may be trying to bury them by starting a relationship with Paris. But Carter is tired of being alone and wants to settle.

Carter has spoken about being home alone. Just him, some snacks, drinks, and sports on the high definition mega screen television. That is the life of a young bachelor but not a middle-aged man who wants a family.

Paris’ older sister, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) was playing Carter for a fool in the recent past. At that time in the plot Zoe wanted Zende, who was not interested.

Zende knew that Carter was engaged to Zoe and did not want to interfere. In other words, Zende put his principles into action.

Carter was on the rebound after his engagement to Zoe collapsed. Hurt and vulnerable, Carter began sharing his feelings with Quinn. She was alienated from her husband at the time.

B&B Spoilers – Is Settling Best On B&B?

After the Carter-Quinn reveal, Saint-Victor’s character needed companionship. Paris provided that and quickly fell for him.

Carter and Paris were and remain single. So, it is okay for both of them to want to start a relationship. But Carter told Paris, in front of her mother, Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech), that he does not love her.

Now, after realizing that he can not jeopardize Quinn’s marriage and his own future at Forrester Creations, Carter is ready to settle for Paris.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Grace Buckingham Sees Clearly

Grace is right in fearing that Carter could hurt Paris badly. Her backstory implies that she is far less experienced with romance than Carter.

However, B&B fans know that Carter has not been seriously involved with many ladies through the years. He became a loner as time passed, focusing on his career, and considered an extended part of the Forrester family.

Carter is teased to be turned in to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) on a workplace harassment charge. Grace takes that extreme measure because she is trying to protect her daughter from being hurt.

While Grace is wrong to level false charges that threaten Carter’s career and intend to damage his reputation, she is right on another level.

Carter does not love Paris but is using her as a replacement for Quinn. Paris and Carter both stand to be hurt in this developing story line.
