The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that a lot of fans have noticed that Poppy has turned into an unnecessarily mean woman, which seems to be quite the shift from when she first arrived in this fictional town of Los Angeles. Many people believe that having Poppy say she’s glad Luna is dead, was a shocking and ridiculous shift in her character development.

Poppy was actually at her best during her relationship with Bill, but that didn’t last very long. Of course, neither did all the speculation suggesting that Bill could have been Luna’s father as well.

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some have even commented with, “The whole thing is ridiculous….now Luna isn’t murderous because Sheila is her grandmother…it’s because Poppy is a pill popping whore that was neglectful.”

“Sorry I’m not buying any of that….she was presented as a free spirit that lived life on her own terms and loved her daughter intensely….now she’s glad she’s dead… smh. And Li, who shunned them both, now wants to save her niece….where was she for 20 years? Good lord make it stop.”

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Next For Poppy?

Another critic of the show wrote, “She was a peaceful character and not mean spirited and she’s a whore, but Steph wasn’t who didn’t know the paternity. The fact that they’re blaming a single mother really pisses me off like if she was promiscuous.”

“It’s not severe neglect and that was never talked about before. Luna’s aunt never wanted anything to do with her and all of a sudden she has compassion for her when she’s murdered multiple people.”

And then there was this comment as well: “They did a 180 and messed up at least 3 characters to have this storyline. They regretted trying to bring on Elektra and Ivy to take the place of the characters that Luna and Popi were meant to be.”

“Elektra is dull so they are trying to redeem Luna but I think it is too little too late for that. They need to go back to the drawing board and quit forcing us to buy into the sainthood of most of these characters.”
