Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) was listening intently, as she’s often tasked to do, while Quinn was lamenting her latest marital betrayal. Fans, Quinn, and Shauna couldn’t hear the front door open. A tight shot on Sofer, who is killing it in this developing storyline, enabled that scene to play out.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – First, Kudos To Rena Sofer
Sofer is a great actor. She’s taken Quinn in many directions since 2013 when this character debuted on B&B.
Quinn’s current plight is actually an extension of tension that seemed to have subsided a number of months ago. Sofer and McCook were on-screen a lot in the latter part of last year. Queric addressed the Bridge breakup fail that Quinn and Shauna engaged in.
Eric’s disillusionment led to Quinn’s voluntary involvement in Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) relationship dilemma. Sofer began offering another master acting class, as Quinn glided from Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) counselor to his unexpected romantic connection. This outcome enables Sofer to tell another intriguing tale through her quixotic alter ego.
B&B Spoilers – Shauna Fulton Is A Solid Sidekick
This section header accurately defines what this character is. With Richards being a sharp addition to this solid cast in 2019.
Shauna was swayed by her feelings for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) in the recent past. Quinn used that emotion to manipulate Shauna into aggressively pursuing Ridge, which ended badly for all involved.
Now, after serving as Quinn’s defacto marriage broker, Shauna is again positioned as a go-between. She will temporarily deflect Eric’s suspicions about Quinn’s words. But that band-aid won’t stop the soapy bleeding.
The Bold And The Beautiful – Looking Back In Retrospect
Eric loves his wife and values the excitement she’s brought to his life. He rightly believes that her presence in his world has enhanced what otherwise may have been a much duller existence.
Forgiveness is one of Eric’s many fine traits, as Quinn often asserts. However, he has his limits and will be able to cite this mansion living room incident, where Quinn was referring to her time with Carter, as the moment when she could have chosen to be honest.
In retrospect, rightful grounds for divorce will include the memory of this three-character event, where Quinn was detailing her betrayal to Shauna as Eric walked in.
