However, there might be more to this story than viewers realize.

      Shauna and Quinn needed time to connote their plan to fake a marriage license so Shauna didn’t tell Ridge right away. If Ridge was so drunk how could he possibly remember his signature on this phony marriage license. When the truth comes out Eric will dump Quinn and Ridge will want nothing to do with Shauna. Ridge will no damn well he didn’t file the divorce papers. How can Ridge keep his commitment to Shauna when he loves Brooke and wants to be with her. Shauna is desperate to hold onto a man that doesn’t love her or has never told her he loves her.
