Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) is enjoying a life she’s earned on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Her marriage to Eric Forrester (John McCook) created opportunities and a lifestyle that didn’t exist when she was living in Las Vegas, Nevada. That was when she (then known as Quinn Fuller) and Wyatt Fuller (Darin Brooks) before he became Wyatt Spencer, knew the Fulton’s.

Now, due to Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) provocations, Quinn feels the need to fight. Defending her marriage and existence, Sofer’s character took a risky gamble at the Forrester estate, where Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) portrait once hung in the main living room above the mantle.

No one knows what happened, yet. Quinn took a bottle of liquor and poured a few ounces into an open juice container that was partially filled while Brooke wasn’t looking.

The above would purely be a prank under most circumstances. There didn’t appear to be nearly enough alcohol to cause Brooke, or any driver, to become instantly impaired. So when Brooke left she likely wasn’t in any danger of creating an accident.

But Quinn and the audience know that Brooke battled alcohol problems in the past. So the intent wasn’t to erase Lang’s iconic character but to push her back to the bottle.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) spiked Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) drink last summer. He used a chemical that his pal, Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero) provided. The potion served as an aphrodisiac, which persuaded Liam to reconnect with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

But Quinn didn’t take from Thomas’ playbook. As Brooke noted during their verbal battle, both before and after the drink spike, Quinn has a dark side.

Brooke spoke of Quinn’s personality point in the present tense because she rightly believes that the dastardly elements of her rival’s personality remain alive. The audience knows the whole story and must agree.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Eric Forrester Wants His Life Back

Eric was upset when he spoke with his son, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) at Forrester Creations. McCook’s character said that he and Quinn were enjoying an extended period of peace, but that Brooke had upset their world.

Brooke’s miscalculation results from her belief that others must see the world as she sees it. Mixing facts with opinion to demand corrections hasn’t persuaded the people she cares about. Instead, Brooke is alienating them.

Now, as an alcohol addiction based storyline appears to have started, Brooke will likely continue to fall. Eric wants his life back. That includes his marriage with Quinn. But through her pain and with persistence, Brooke may realize the consequences she knows Quinn and Thomas deserve. However, plenty of drama will play out until then.
