The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers & Recap Friday November 13: Zoe Gets A Shock, Shauna Hides From Wyatt

The Friday, November 13, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful opens at the Los Angeles loft of Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) as the smoke alarm interrupts his marriage proposal to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes).

Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) wants to know if Zoe accepted. Zoe is too befuddled to make a decision. Zoe wonders if the smoke alarm is a sign that she will remain eternally single. Zende thinks it’s a sign that the universe has some other guy in mind for her.

Zoe was surprised by the proposal. She’s been let down so many times by men, she was thrilled that a nice guy was finally interested in her.

Zende warns Zoe about the enormous commitment that marriage entails. However, just because it didn’t work out between him and his wife, doesn’t mean it won’t work with her and Carter, who would make a kind and devoted husband. Zoe asks Zende if she should marry Carter.

Zende wants to confess his feelings but is interrupted when the smoke alarm stops and Carter and Paris return. Carter asks for time alone with Zoe to work out their unfinished business. Before Zende and Paris leave, Paris advises Zoe not to let Carter go. Zende reluctantly congratulates her.

Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) chats with her future-mother-in-law at the beach house. Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) pours a glass of wine to bemoan the fact that her marriage is in shambles and she’s crashing at her son’s house. She vows not to give up—she will be back in her house with Eric Forrester (John McCook). She hopes Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) put in a good word for her with Eric before Shauna moved out.

B&B Spoilers – Eric Forrester Misses Quin Forrester

Quinn finds it’s strange that Shauna hasn’t been communicating with Flo. Quinn feels betrayed that her best friend is shacking up with her husband after Quinn was kicked to the curb. When Flo says that her mother is probably trying to help Quinn, Quinn says that Shauna knows her actions were inappropriate. Quinn reminisces about Eric’s marriage proposal.

Eric smiles at Quinn’s portrait over the mantle. Shauna suggests that he ask the real Quinn to move home. She thanks him for insisting she stay in the guest house. She feels like she’s in the way and wonders if she should leave so he can try saving his marriage. Eric wants her to stay. Shauna can see why Quinn loves him so much. They’re interrupted when Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) arrives. Shauna hides so that Quinn won’t find out she’s still living there.

Wyatt goes to bat for his mother. Quinn acted cruelly, but people make mistakes and she didn’t act alone. Shauna played a significant role in executing the plan. Eric believes that Shauna’s remorse is genuine and she was manipulated by Quinn. Wyatt believes his mother’s remorse is genuine too. Wyatt begs Eric to give Quinn a second chance. Eric doesn’t have the energy.

Wyatt wonders if Shauna is still living with Eric. Eric says that he insisted Shauna stay. Wyatt reminds Eric that he chose to marry Quinn. Quinn’s strengths, including how fiercely she loves and protects Eric, outweigh her flaws.
Zende drops by to see his grandfather. He tells Eric that Carter asked Zoe to marry him. Eric says that Carter is smart not to let a girl like Zoe slip through his fingers. Zende believes Zoe has it all—she’s intelligent, beautiful, and going places.

Carter has something else to say before Zoe answers his question. He wants her by his side to share success, joy, laughter, and pain. He can face anything with someone as strong and resilient as her. Zoe agrees to marry Carter. Carter slides the ring on Zoe’s finger.
