The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers & Recap Thursday September 17: Thomas Ruffles Liam’s Feathers, Sparks Fly For Steffy And Finn

On Thursday, September 17, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) calls Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) on his hypocrisy. Liam isn’t as worried about Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) health as he is the fact that she’s interested in another man. Liam is concerned about himself and his ego. He’s the one who threw Steffy away.

Liam pleads that Thomas is missing the point. Liam is worried that Steffy’s doctor is too interested in her personally to do his job. Because Finn is blurring ethical lines, Steffy’s health could be compromised. If he has an ulterior motive coloring his judgment, that makes Steffy vulnerable. Liam, in his experience with helping his mother through breast cancer treatment, says that Steffy needs to be able to trust her doctor to be objective about her health.

Thomas isn’t upset that the doctor noticed how beautiful and remarkable his patient is. An honest doctor is a good thing. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) breaks up the heated discussion. Thomas tells Ridge that Liam is jealous of Steffy’s doctor.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Appreciates Liam Spencer For Taking Care

Liam asks Ridge to consider just how objective a doctor can be if he’s falling in love with his patient. Ridge appreciates Liam for taking care of Steffy but isn’t concerned about Finn either.

Thomas says the only one who can’t be objective about Steffy is Liam. Liam is scared Steffy will move on with another guy. Steffy’s emotional vulnerability is on Liam. Ridge tries to calm his son, but Thomas won’t hear it. He blasts Liam for playing ping-pong with the hearts of Steffy and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Liam should have stayed with Steffy when he got her pregnant. Steffy and Hope would be better off today if Liam had just picked one and stuck with his decision years ago. Thomas tells Liam to back off Steffy. If Liam truly loved Steffy, he would leave her alone and let her finally find happiness apart from him.

B&B Spoilers – John Finnegan And Steffy Forrester Kiss

Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Dovlan) is shocked when Steffy plants a kiss on him. She wonders if the kiss opened his eyes as to how she feels about him. Finn regrets telling Steffy he can’t be her doctor but says he can still find her another doctor and walk out the door.

She’s impressed that he was brave enough to come to her with his concerns. She loves that he’s so kind and attentive and that he’s willing to walk away to avoid conflict. He tells her that her health matters more than his feelings. He’d rather give up being her doctor than give up spending time with her. Steffy asks Finn to continue as her doctor and a potential date.

Finn and Steffy flirt. He says that she should feel complimented because he thinks of her day and night. Steffy jokes that maybe he’s obsessed with her. Finn says he’s ready to think about something or someone else besides medicine. He’s grateful that she’s opened up to him and that she will continue to be his patient. Finn looks forward to getting to know her. Steffy says that, from the moment he looked into her eyes the first day after the accident, she knew she’d be okay. Steffy and Finn kiss passionately.
