The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers & Recap Tuesday October 13: Liam Rants Over Finn, Thomas Inches Closer To Hope

The Tuesday, October 13, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful recap, opens at Spencer Publications with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) warning his father to tread lightly where Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is concerned. Liam is already worried about her interactions with Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Dovlan). Finn is calling himself Steffy’s advocate now, not her doctor.

Next on today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, Liam makes their budding relationship his business because the health of the mother of his child is on the line. If Finn had kept it professional when it mattered, he would have caught the signs of her addiction sooner. Finn’s lack of objectivity helped her get addicted to pain meds in the first place.

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) cautions Liam to be careful as well. Liam will always want to protect Steffy because part of him will always love her.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Thanks Dr. John Finnegan

At the rehab center, Steffy thanks Finn for his help and believes that Liam is also grateful, in his own way. Finn understands that Liam is protective of Steffy. Finn and Steffy’s case manager have something positive to show Steffy. Steffy has made such progress, it’s time for her to think about where she goes from here.

At Forrester Creations, Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) is keeping an eye on Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) says that Zende probably has a lot of questions about how she could go along with what her father did to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). She feels really stupid for allowing herself to get pulled in by him. She asks Zende to believe that she is working to make up for her mistakes. Zende sees her efforts and respects her for trusting him with the story.

B&B Spoilers –  Zoe Buckingham Is Grateful

Zoe is grateful for the second chance at Forrester. Zende asks if Zoe is also grateful for a chance with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Zoe hesitates before saying that Carter is very sweet. Zende laughs that Carter helped him find his way around the gym. Zoe claims that she’s a lucky girl to have found someone as handsome, successful, and kind as Carter. Zende isn’t convinced.

Thomas pitches Hope to work on her line. Zende can help out, but Hope for the Future should be led by a designer who already has experience with it. Thomas and Hope have been co-parenting Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and he’s thriving. Who better to help Hope for the Future thrive than Hope and Thomas? Hope shoots Thomas down. It’s time to start over with someone else as her designer.

Thomas is disappointed but respects Hope’s decision. He believes she’s not comfortable working with him. He promises that he will prove himself to her.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – The Caseworker Hands Steffy Forrester A Tablet

Caseworker Michael Turner (Jarvis George) hands Steffy a tablet and asks her to view a powerful story of recovery. One patient discusses how he became hooked after taking two opioid pills. He encourages people to get the help they need. Steffy cries, inspired by another addict’s story.

Steffy agrees to record a video of her recovery story as well so she could help her legion of social media followers. She sends a message to her fans, detailing her motorcycle accident, the pain it caused, and her consequent opioid dependency. She says that the medication changed her and became the most important thing in her life. She started lying to the people she cared about the most. Those people helped her realize she was addicted. She encourages her followers to reach out for help. She’s rooting for those who are suffering as she has.

B&B Spoilers – Steffy Forrester’s Message

Michael is blown away by Steffy’s message. It has the potential to reach many people. Steffy says that filming the video has helped her feel better. Finn and Michael give Steffy the good news that she’s ready to go home. Steffy is thrilled when Michael goes to prepare her discharge papers. Steffy tells Finn she couldn’t have done it without him. He helped her find her strength. Now, she’ll get to see her baby girl again.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal Liam barges in on Hope and Thomas’ meeting, still wound up from his visit with Steffy. He’s miffed that the more he sees Steffy, the more he has to see the doctor responsible for her addiction. Finn is a problem. Liam will stay upset until he figures out what to do about Dr. Feelgood. Liam says that Finn is the type of guy who crosses lines. Liam isn’t sure he wants someone so unethical around his daughter.

Hope isn’t surprised that Finn interrupted the visit. Steffy wants him to be a part of her life. Hope acknowledges Liam’s concern but says that Finn is a decent guy who cares about Steffy. Thomas backs Hope—Finn seems good for Steffy. Hope pleads with her husband to let Steffy lead her life.
