The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers & Recap Wednesday September 23: Steffy Freaks On Liam And Hope, Thomas Shocked

The Wednesday, September 23, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful opens at the cliff house. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) flips out when Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) threatens to take her daughter. Liam won’t allow Kelly Spencer to stay with her mother if Steffy will be passed out unconscious again on painkillers. He puts Kelly in the car while he has it out with Steffy. Kelly isn’t safe with Steffy until she gets professional help.

Steffy doesn’t need Liam’s pity for her condition or his judgment for being a bad mother. She accuses Liam of kidnapping her only child and punishing her. He already took “Phoebe” away and now he’s taking Kelly. He has no idea how hard it has been on her. She’s at home all day with their daughter while Liam is happily playing house with Hope. Steffy says she would never put Kelly in danger. She says Liam is being overly dramatic.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Situation Out Of Control

Steffy reminds Liam of how happy they were when they were together. Liam says that Steffy has a problem and that the situation is out of her control now. When he leaves, Steffy breaks down in tears. She rummages through her purse looking for her keys.

When Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) drops in, she doesn’t have time for it and tells him to leave. He tries to piece it together when she says Liam stole Kelly so that he could bring another child home to Hope. Liam accused her of being an unfit mother.

Thomas says that Liam’s behavior seems over the top, even for him. Steffy finally finds her keys and runs out the door with Thomas on her heels. She’s determined to reclaim her daughter.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Logan Is Frustarted

Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) catches up with her mother while Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) babysits Beth Spencer and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Hope is frustrated that Liam is spending so much time with Steffy. Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) admires Liam’s concern for Steffy.

Hope raves about how much she loves Kelly and how well she gets along with her siblings. Brooke is proud of Hope for managing a blended family and for stepping up when Steffy was injured. Hope says it’s easy with Liam by her side. She and Liam will always look out for Kelly’s best interests.

Liam interrupts with shocking news. He tells Brooke and Hope that Steffy has been lying to all of them. He found Steffy passed out cold on painkillers while Kelly was in her care. Even her doctor doesn’t even know about the pills. Once she woke up, she became defiant and out of control. Liam took Kelly in order to protect her. Hope says he made the right call. Steffy is in no condition to take care of Kelly.

Liam is so surprised that opioid addiction happened to someone like Steffy. He beats himself up for how he handled the situation. He feels guilty for taking Steffy’s daughter from her.

Steffy bursts in, screaming at Hope, Liam, and Brooke for taking her daughter. Liam says he’s only caring for Kelly while Steffy checks herself into a program. Steffy says she doesn’t need a program, she needs her daughter. They can’t take away the one thing that’s still hers. She demands they hand over her daughter.
