Kaye explained that after the kissing video is aired and Ridge comes to the realization that his marriage is over, he makes a fateful decision. He decides to join Shauna in Las Vegas.

“She can’t look at him and not be with him, so she leaves and Ridge says, ‘Well, then I should probably go with you.’ And the two take off for Sin City…”
