The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) are away. The stunning remarriage failure resulted in both people needing to reset their minds and hearts, and that makes total soapy sense.

Kaye and Allen earned some time away from the set after the months-long buildup to the long-awaited reunion that did not happen. As all devoted soap opera fans know, the Search for Tomorrow headline was a wink at that classic drama that aired from 1951 through 1986. Its long run ended a year prior to when B&B debuted in 1987.

Ridge took off when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) magically appeared in front of Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) eyes. And Taylor goes away when Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is dangerously standing on the edge of sanity.

The Sheila threat to the Forrester family is massive, and no one, except Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) knew about until just over two weeks from Christmas in Los Angeles, California.

Plenty of drama is happening while Ridge and Taylor are away. Their return is not immediately known, as family members and friends give them some emotional space.

B&B Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Returns To Form?

Returning means coming back to LA to address the major issues he created by going back and forth between Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor this year. And Brooke can only use her Logan name because Ridge forced her to drop Forrester through the pressured annulment.

Brooke was wronged by Ridge, who refused to tell her why he was suddenly outraged. His actions made no sense to Brooke because she had done nothing against him following the New Year’s Eve incident with Deacon.

But Ridge was manipulated by Thomas, who masterfully convinced his father that Brooke reported him to Child Services for endangering Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). So, can Ridge return to Brooke and expect her forgiveness?

Brooke is openly saying she told Ridge to take some time to clear his head. She also wants him to realize what is in his heart.

Ridge’s temporary exile also gives Brooke time to collect her thoughts. Love is not the issue, and she believes Ridge will always be her destiny. But does Brooke think an immediate remarriage, or an annulment reversal is in order?
