The exaggerated facial expression, flailing hair, and business casual-like clothing made for a perfect sketch drawing. RJ does possess the Forrester talent. But his traits can not be tied to genetics, with the same being true of Ridge.

The effect on one’s environment in this version of Los Angeles, California, allows characters to become who they are. So, Ridge became a famous designer like his adoptive father, Eric Forrester (John McCook), who is legendary in the fashion world.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Daytime Backstories Are Complex

Devoted viewers know that Massimo Marone (portrayed by the late Joseph Mascolo from 2001 through 2006) had an affair with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery). They are Ridge’s parents, which means Eric shares no blood with Kaye or Hoffman’s characters.

Stephanie’s romantic connection with Massimo happened just before she married Eric. Of course, that event took place years before B&B was on the air and became a major reveal during Mascolo’s run on the show.

Intriguingly, Massimo and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) had a daughter, Diana Carter (last portrayed as a baby by Weston and Mason Bodle in 2003). She is Ridge’s half-sister.

BB Spoilers – RJ Forrester Inspired By His Dad

Kudos to TPTB for giving Hoffman a major push as the RJ recast. He replaces Anthony Turpel, who played RJ from 2016 through 2018.

The character Hoffman now plays wanted to return to Los Angles, California. While RJ was off-screen, he became an influencer. Ridge is happy his son developed his creative talent and wants him to use that in the family business.

Providing him with a designer’s pencil was a good way to prove to RJ that he has what it takes. Ridge had his instinct affirmed when his youngest son created the illustrated likeness of his dad, who he said inspires him.

The ladies have enjoyed some laughs at Ridge’s expense, with RJ’s caricature of his dad adding to their list. The scenes between Lang and Allen are delightful as they further the unexpected but plausible friendship and provide the audience with comic relief that contrasts the more serious storylines on B&B.
