The hardest consequence for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is being alienated from his family. But he must reset his life and can not be enabled, as he has for many years.

Ridge is arguably the most responsible for Thomas being such so reckless. He has been the main parental influence in his adult years, as the Taylor character was mostly out of town until the recast to Allen in 2021.

Devoted fans recall Kaye’s character forced Thomas to tell him the truth about Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) car plunging off Mulholland Drive. Ridge told Thomas he would not allow the authorities to become involved and told Thomas no one would know he was connected to her death, and no one has learned to date.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan And Taylor Hayes Stand By Decision

Brooke and Taylor’s decision was an option hardcore B&B supporters may have felt was coming. The messy triangle between Brooke, Ridge, and Taylor felt overdone.

So, rather than furthering a well-worn conflict premise, TPTB broke the pattern. The high-five Lang and Hayes’ characters gave themselves was symbolic of the end of a decades-long arc.

It could be that Ridge is blocked from reconciling with either lady. It could also be that Brooke and Taylor remain single and find new loves in the future.
