The Bold And The Beautiful: Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye)The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease in Soap Opera Digest Early Editions that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will force a choice. They will force Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to side with one or the other of them in the custody battle over Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri).

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Pulled Apart

Ridge already feels like he’s being pulled apart in two different directions by Brooke, who he is still legally married to, and Taylor, who seems to have his heart. Now they are not only pulling him apart as their husband and ex-husband, respectively, but as Douglas’ grandfather. Brooke is firmly in the trenches against Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) having custody of his son, feeling he’s dangerous; Taylor is his biggest cheerleader, seeing his progress and healing.

Brooke’s attitudes towards Thomas have come between her and Ridge in the past, and they may prove to do so again. Taylor is of the firm belief, and encouraged by Thomas and her daughter Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) that both Ridge and Douglas are better off with the Forresters.

B & B Spoilers – Brooke Forrester’s Hurt Ridge Forrester

Definitely coming into play will be Taylor and her family’s insistence that Brooke has hurt Ridge time and time again, and it may be pointed out that their own young son has been forgotten. No one ever talks about RJ Forrester (most recently Anthony Turpel) who has been stashed away in boarding schools and now would be around twenty-one years old. RJ tried to get Ridge and Brooke together when she was with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) as hard as Thomas and Steffy are trying to reunite Ridge and Taylor. The last anyone heard of RJ was he was living with Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) and his wife. He seems to have been left out in the cold with both of his parents.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Forced To Choose

Ridge will be forced to choose a side in the battle over Douglas; Taylor and Thomas’ side keeping Douglas a Forrester or Brooke and Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) side. It is understandable that Brooke would support her daughter, but neither of them is related by blood to Douglas, and Brooke’s attitude against Thomas will be key in the outcome. Bill and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will also be heavily on Hope and Brooke’s side, feeling Thomas and the Forresters are a bunch of crazies, as Bill put it recently.

Ridge will be put in the middle and it won’t be a comfortable spot to be. But he can hardly side against his own son like Brooke wants him to, and that will be a heavy influence in his choice.
