Shauna is an honest person. She’s also wise. Ridge came around to Shauna, after initially rejecting her admiration of him. She was thrilled that he didn’t question Flo Fulton’s (Katrina Bowden) immunity deal. But the joy she felt toward him soon developed into feelings that were moving toward love.
When Ridge felt betrayed by Brooke’s cabin kiss he set off for Las Vegas, Nevada. While he told Shauna that he wanted to learn about her life and was interested in starting a relationship, she once again pushed him off. She was and remains right in thinking that Brooke will always be his destiny.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan Wasn’t Having An Affair
Bridge fans know the storied history of B&B’s arguably greatest couple. They’ve been married, separated, and divorced on many occasions.
Subjective opinions can point to both parties as having wronged each other in different ways over the decades. But in this instance, Brooke was not having an affair with Bill. She hadn’t done anything before kissing him in the cabin and wasn’t planning to pursue Bill after that happened.
Brooke’s mistake is just that. While Ridge’s pain is justified and real, he can’t truthfully compare Brill’s smooch to the many kisses he’s willingly shared with Shauna in past months.

It would be much easier for Ridge to submit divorce papers if he was having an affair with Shauna. Brooke’s kiss would serve as an excuse, or explanation, to end his marriage. But Shidge doesn’t exist yet.
With plenty of time to consider all that’s happened, viewers will learn if Ridge believes that he and Brooke can do what’s needed to repair a relationship that’s been fragile for many months. For his part, Ridge can offer forgiveness and go from there.

So is this real and true ridge patches things up with his wife brooke ok well I’m not shouting for joy yet ok because yall writers do the most
Would be much more interesting if Ridge filed those divorce papers in Vegas got it quickly finalised and then married Shauna but can’t remember because he was too drunk. It would be gold for Brooke to receive notification on the finalisation of the marriage in the mail in a few weeks at which time Shauna returns and tells Ridge they got married.
